I am very grateful to DansiT for the wonderful opportunity to spend a week in residency in Trondheim. Together with dancers Inger-Reidun Olsen and Mathias Jin Budtz, we explored many aspects of the upcoming project When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly.

I was grateful to return to Overlyssalen, where I carried out a pre-project in 2023 that later grew into When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly.

Finally, my dream project has kicked off! I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me in making this project possible: the artist members, blind mentors, Art Council Norway, venues, and many others.

We kicked off the final phase of the rehearsal period!

The first day I was dedicated to rigging with Bergen Internasjonale Teater (BIT), and from the 7th, we all worked together in the space. 

I'm happy to join a tour of Det var en gang en skog for the Markedet for Scenekunst festival with fellow artists! We mostly showed it in October and November last year, so it was wonderful to approach the work with fresh eyes and meet new audiences!

I joined the rehearsals for Offbeat with Ian Yves Ancheta and the dancers. We explored movement, objects, and costumes, and held run-throughs with audiences. Though the rehearsal period was short, we made strong progress and shaped ideas for scenography, costume, and more. It was a valuable experience to share time and space with the team!

I’m looking forward to presenting the piece — the premiere will take place on 11 October 2025 in Bergen, Norway.
