I’m happy to share that I’ve received project fundings from Arts Council Norway for my upcoming project, When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly. The premiere date has now been confirmed.

We began exploring the concept through a pre-project, Sensorial Art Exhibition, in 2023 (Read more), and it will now evolve into a full-scale experience.


About When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly 

We will create a participatory exhibition-performance based on the principles of universal design, with a focus on inclusion and accessibility for deaf, blind, and deafblind audiences. The work raises the question:
What does it truly mean to create an inclusive art experience?

The project welcomes everyone — with or without hearing or sight.
Audiences will enter the space as if they are deaf, blind or deafblind, those who are hearing or seeing will use ear defenders and/or blindfolds, to experience the world from a different perspective. Inside the space, they will encounter different sensorial art objects such as dancers' bodies, soundscapes with vibration and a sign language music video, textiles, and scents.

The premiere will take place on 26 May 2026 at Overlyssalen, Fredrikstad, Norway.
