New Project Announcement: When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly

I’m happy to share that I’ve received project funding from Arts Council Norway for my upcoming project, When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly. The premiere date has now been confirmed.
We began exploring the concept through a pre-project, Sensorial Art Exhibition, in 2023 (Read more), and it will now evolve into a full-scale experience.
About When I Close My Eyes and Ears, I Sense You Clearly
We will create a participatory exhibition-performance based on the principles of universal design, with a focus on inclusion and accessibility for Deaf and blind audiences. The work raises the question:
What does it truly mean to create an inclusive art experience?
The project welcomes everyone — with or without hearing or sight.
Audience members will encounter a sensorial landscape designed to reflect on perception, embodiment, and presence beyond vision and hearing. The exhibition-performance brings together performing art, sound art, and visual art to engage the senses in new and unexpected ways.
The premiere will take place on 26 May 2026 at Overlyssalen, Fredrikstad, Norway.
