4 January is World Braille Day, which raises awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication and as a foundation for human rights, equality, and inclusion for blind and visually impaired people.

As part of Heddadagene 2025 (The Norwegian Theatre Festival), I attended a series of discussion-based seminars at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo.

I attended two inspiring courses organised by Statped: Tactile Symbols and Tactile Book. Last year, I took the Tactile Book course, and this year I was glad to return and deepen my understanding.

I attended UD2024 (International Conference on Universal Design 2024), hosted by Bufdir (The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth, and Family Affairs).




Conference: Scent Summit and Art and Olfaction Awards6–7 June 2024 | Casa do Alentejo, Lisbon, Portugal


I attended the 5th Experimental Scent Summit and the 10th Art and Olfaction Awards, both organised by the Institute for Art and Olfaction (IAO), in Lisbon.




Course: Tactile book24 April 2024 | Statped, Oslo, Norway

I attended a course on tactile books hosted by Statped. The course was divided into two parts: a theoretical introduction and a hands-on session where we each created our own tactile book.




Talk: Universal Design in Scenography20 June 2023 | Sony City Osaki, Tokyo, Japan

I was invited to give a talk for Sony employees and university students on the topic of ‘Universal Design in Scenography’.
