Then They Scattered
Dance performance inspired by The Odyssey by Homer
Scenography
A room with a broken sentence.
A transient odyssey.
A hint from the abyss.
A shattered harmony.
A reoccurring orbit.
A small internal deviation.
A spontaneous prophecy.
A dinner with ghosts.
A scattered dance.
A final goodbye.

The scenography is composed of three main elements: rice paper, a copper sheet, and a reflective floor. The rice paper creates a fragile, uncanny atmosphere. The copper sheet reflects light beautifully and adds to a dramatic soundscape. Shiny floor mats suggest liquid or mirror-like surfaces, enriching the dancers’ movement and expression.
